“I have used many massage therapists over the years as I have been very active and aggressive in my pursuit of physical hobbies. I also have a history of back problems which include 2 fusions of my lower spine, L3-S6. It seemed to make sense to me for massage therapy to be a part of my regime. I could not find anyone that left me feeling different than when I came in and was about to give up on this type of therapy. One summer, in the middle of training for the Ovando Gran Fondo along with my CrossFit training, I found Be Well Bodywork on the internet. Structural Integration, really? Who does that?
After a very thoughtful interview session, Jessica recommended a 10 session series. The 10 session introduction was a mind blowing experience and I was hooked. I also got other benefits I was not expecting. Posture improvement, alignment of ligaments and muscles, better walking and motion techniques. The stretching Jessica has taught me has absolutely changed my life.
Jessica is a trained professional and excellent at her craft. You can tell, she cares about you as a person, not just a client. Professional, courteous, fair, open minded, great conversationalist and just a darn good person. I highly recommend her to anyone who has back, breathing, posture issues, or just needs great bodywork.”

“For many years I have experienced chronic pain from numerous sports-related injuries and have tried many different therapy options. Working with Jessica and completing the ten series has without a doubt been the most positive development for my overall physical health that I have experienced yet. I full-heartedly recommend Jessica to anyone seeking greater balance, posture and wellness in order to get back in the game and to better navigate the daily grind of life.”

“As someone who experiences frequent lower back discomfort, I have found Jessica to be the one person who can provide immediate and lasting relief to my muscles. She leaves me standing straighter, taller and more comfortably. Jessica is an expert in fascial release and customizes her techniques to her clients’ needs, as I’ve experienced. I have been a client for three years, and highly recommend her to anyone with muscle pain or tightness.”

“Jessica is a highly skilled Structural Integration practitioner. After years of pain caused by a childhood injury, my first visit to a Rolfing practitioner was in 1990. Since then, periodic treatments help keep me healthy and active. Jessica does incredible work, is top notch in her field, and is passionate and dedicated to her work and clients!”

“Jessica’s Structural Integration was a tremendous experience for me. I have some congenital issues with my right side and have worked for many years through physical training to bring and keep my body in alignment and working optimally at 58. But there have always been challenges with my pelvis, mid-back, neck and jaw. I have been really pleased how Jessica’s SI work has helped improve my structural alignment and ease of movement from feet to head. The work continues to hold after several months. Jessica is very knowledgeable, personable and, most importantly, highly gifted with her ability to feel her way into problem areas with the right amount of pressure into joints and fascia.”

“I experience severe pain from sciatica, ankle and knee injuries and arthritis. Seeking options from painkillers, this year I tried several therapies and my best results were from Jessica at Be Well Bodywork. Not only did I benefit from the sessions themselves but she helped identify a variety of efforts I could make on my own. Jessica has a gift and I thank her for sharing it.”

“Doing Structural Integration with Jessica exceeded my expectations and is turning out to be the final piece of the puzzle in my extensive rehabilitation process. Due to numerous past injuries, my physical health deteriorated to the point that I was in constant pain, not sleeping and walking with compensatory patterns. Five months after my 3rd arthroscopic surgery and follow-up physical therapy, I still could not walk upstairs without pain and had lingering tension pain patterns and muscle dysfunction in various areas of the body, preventing me from progressing back to my full physical health and active lifestyle. While doing PT, I had been seeing a massage therapist and had excellent results, but it seemed my upper and lower neuromuscular system was in a constant tug of war. My orthopedic surgeon suggested I try Rolfing due to the lingering soft tissue problems.
After researching Rolfing and options in Missoula, I chose Jessica because of her expertise and advanced training in scar tissue and fascia integration. Jessica’s calm professionalism and confident but gentle touch immediately gained my trust and set me at ease during session #1. Her knowledge and expertise quickly became apparent as she worked. As the sessions progressed I started to see remarkable results: being able to walk pain free and increased harmony in my pelvic region as my pelvis became aligned with my upper and lower body, allowing increased mobility in the trunk and pelvic region and decreased pain patterns.
At the start of each session, Jessica took the time to revisit how my body responded to the last session and to share her strategy for the current session. At the end of sessions, she never rushed and took the time to ensure I was walking comfortably, even if it meant a few minutes of extra work, even suggesting stretching tips for problem areas.
In summary, I highly recommend structural integration with Jessica. She modifies each session to your specific needs while progressing through the integration process. She has comprehensive and in-depth knowledge about the functioning of the neuromuscular system and how the fascia and different muscle groups interact and dysfunctional patterns can occur. She was able to start releasing adhesions and scar tissue I’ve had for years, realigning the pelvis and trunk and freeing muscles, allowing them to fire and function. I noticed differences after each session, and I am starting to feel normal again. Working with Jessica has given me spectacular results, and hope for my continued rehab. Even though I still have a ways to go, structural integration with Jessica has been a pivotal point in regaining my physical health and will be a part of my health regimen going forward.”

“Having been an athlete and professional nurse all of my adult life, with multiple sports injuries and the wear and tear of a very active life I sought out some relief from chronic pain.
I feel very fortunate to have found Jessica and Structural Integration; in fact, I wish I had found them years ago. I have noted a general sense of well being, comfort, and a feeling of greater openness through my entire body and spirit, it is quite refreshing to feel a natural ease. My chronic shoulder, neck, and head pain has almost entirely been eliminated allowing me to sleep up to 6-7 hours a night when previously I would awaken with shoulder/arm pain numbness in 2-3 hours.
My chronic low back and leg pain has been eliminated. I especially noted this when driving longer distances. My first long drive after the therapy I started to adjust my sitting position in the normal 20-30 minutes, but then observed that it was not necessary as I did not have the pain/numbness in my back and leg. My next long drive of 6 hours was happily spent comfortably sitting without my usual squirming around from pain.
I highly recommend the Structural Integration series to anyone who is seeking comfort from life’s stressors and injuries. The impressive results continue beyond the 10 series sessions of Structural Integration. Jessica made me feel at ease with the process and demonstrated great professional skill with her healing touch and understanding of patient needs.”

”I feel strongly that Structural Integration and my work with Jessica was such a pivotal experience that I have a hard time articulating my feelings. Jessica was wonderful to work with. She is incredibly strong, yet knows when to be gentle. Throughout the 10 sessions, she studied my case and was prepared when I arrived. She gave me pointers that furthered my healing and was very knowledgeable and thorough in her explanations. Structural Integration gave me the foundation I needed to discover strength I never knew I had. I’ve been a yoga practitioner for 15 years, but after going through the sessions and continuing my practice, I discovered muscles and ways of moving that I had never used before; I had a new body! It was an awakening of my body’s full potential that impacted many other areas of my life as well. Not only do I have a lot less pain and a straighter back/stronger core, but more confidence and ease. People respond to me differently. I believe the body and mind are more interlinked than our culture recognizes and am even more convinced now. The most amazing part is that I never knew what I was missing.”

“I started Structural Integration with Jessica at Be Well Bodywork in February of 2012. My hope when I started was to relieve some of my pain I had been experiencing in my back that had gotten continually worse over the last 10 years. I have a very significant history of back problems including scoliosis and additional damage resulting from multiple surgical incisions to my chest, side and back.
Although I had some relief from frequent massages, the beneficial effect was only short-lived. The first session with Jessica was different. She used techniques that had never been done on me previously. After the first session, my back did not hurt for 3-4 days. The results got better over time so that after 10 sessions, I am now mostly free from back pain and was able to stop taking daily Vicodin.
I also got other benefits I was not expecting. First my breathing got significantly better. I had developed adhesions around my lungs from one of my surgeries and Jessica was able to loosen them up to help me breathe easier.
I was amazed how much my posture had improved after only 10 sessions with Jessica. I had previously seen Chiropractors and Orthopedic Surgeons regarding this problem and they were unable to do what Jessica was able to accomplish in 10 weeks.
Finally, Jessica is very proficient at her craft and one senses immediately that she cares about you as a client. I would highly recommend her to anyone who has back, breathing or posture issues.”
